When I was still with my girlfriend, one night we left the bar and went to bed drunk. In the middle of the night, the light came on and woke me up. I looked around to see what was going on and my girlfriend had peed the bed. A lot. She was quite embarassed and ashamed. I slept on the couch the rest of the night. It was never mentioned again but I could never look at her the same way and my intimacy with her was affected by it. When I broke up with her, it was partly because I just couldn’t look at her without thinking of that night.
