I attend a respectable university. During high school, my GPA was 3.8 unweighted, 4.1 weighted. There wasn’t one day of school where I honestly studied when there wasn’t an exam. Even in the AP classes, I would just study before exams and make decent grades on them. I have never studied a day of my life if there wasn’t a test.

Now that I’m at college, I was told “things would change” and all of a sudden “you aren’t the only one that is smart.” Well, I still haven’t studied a damn day. I study (CRAM) before exams for about an hour and ace them. I have made Dean’s List every semester so far. I have never cheated.

Is there something I am missing out on? Am I really smart, or really stupid for not studying like I should? People tell me I am lucky, but I don’t see myself as smart. Will I be unprepared for the job of my field (biology)? I want to call everyone “fucking stupid” for having to study as much as they do to make DECENT grades. When I can make As and not do a damn thing. But that’s not right.
