One year for christmas when i was about 12 I got a Nurf Bow & Arrow. Its one of those soft-foam toys that is designed to it wont hurt anyone. I shot it at my cat one day and it hit her in the eye. It swolled up so the eye shut, and she had a black eye for about a week. I cried a lot. It eventually healed.
