I am a 3rd year engineering student. I believe all these books I have are worthless and that writing books is just another way for some geeky, worthless profs to make money. Books are nowhere close to reality because we “assume” so much stuff, like assume there’s no wind, no friction, blah blah. I also hate the students in my program who always study 12 hours a day and then feel so proud/smart when they get A’s. I hope these “smart” ass students are a big failure in the “real” world where we don’t have solved examples and the answers to the problems like we do in these stupid books. I would just like to drop out right now and start learning real stuff in the real world.
